The Blair Athol Primary School rain gardens transformed a neglected, swampy drainage area into a thriving outdoor learning environment.
The result is a unique learning environment, allowing students and teachers to immerse themselves in a special landscape within the school. It also set a strong example of how early engagement in the design process can shape successful project outcomes.
